This year’s Tenth Annual Edible Garden Tour could not have happened without the generosity of our local sponsors. Common Ground Garden is deeply grateful for their willingness to champion local gardens by supporting the Tour!
Lyngso Garden Materials is the place for everything from sands, pebbles and boulders to ready-mix concrete, tools and soil mixes. They have the resources and expertise to both satisfy the largest contractor and guide the homeowner on any landscaping project. They can assist you with any project, especially in helping you improve the biology of your soil.
Bucks of Woodside is a restaurant in that specializes in delicious and hearty breakfasts, and is known for its whacky decor. We recommend the blueberry buckwheat pancakes with a fresh squeezed orange juice! It has been a fixture of Silicon Valley for decades and was the birthplace of many tech start-ups, including Tesla. Keep an eye out for the old fashioned cash register (still being used!) and the wigged unicorn, hanging from the ceiling. Also, its the only restaurant where your kids can go on a “treasure hunt” around the dining room.
Vision Recycling is an organics recycling company and compost producer in the Monterey and San Francisco Bay areas. Vision Recycling provides mobile grinding services, turn-key operations, hauling capabilities and objective solutions for your recycling challenges. They take organic material (green waste, yard trimmings & tree debris) and transform it into Compost, Wood Chips, Mulch and Soil Amendments. Vision Recycling values a localized approach to green waste recycling, minimizing trucks on the road and returning materials to the soils from which they came.
